Yesterday rumors started doing rounds that Shah Rukh Khan will be making a special appearance in this year’s most anticipated sequel ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’.

“The makers had approached South actors like Suriya and Mohanlal for a cameo in the Telugu film, which will be dubbed and released in Tamil and Hindi. But now it will be Shah Rukh who plays the character of a mediator between protagonist Prabhas and villain Rana Daggubati. It is an interesting sequence in the narrative,” Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.

But the makers have clarified the rumors and said that Shah Rukh Khan wasn’t a part of the movie.

“We would have loved to have @iamsrk in our movie ! Who wouldn’t ? But unfortunately it’s a rumour! Not true ! #Baahubali2,” the makers tweeted.

Earlier, it was being speculated that Baahubali 2’s first teaser would be released with Shah Rukh Khan’s January release, ‘Raees’. Well, even that didn’t come true.

The epic film, being made at a cost of over Rs 200 crore, has teased it’s fans with a couple of posters so far.

The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Nasser in the lead roles.

On April 28th this year we will all finally have the answer to why Kattappa killed Baahubali.
