Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently on a maternity leave and yet the number of movie offers coming her way hasn’t gone down.

According to the latest reports, it’s alleged that Kareena Kapoor’s good friend Karan Johar has offered her an interesting movie, which the actress is seriously considering.

"Karan has approached her for one of his home productions. It's a romcom and two friends are talking the project over," a source said.

This movie will reunite Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar after four long years. Kareena Kapoor had last starred in Karan Johar’s 2013 flop ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ that also starred Imran Khan.  The only movie in which Karan Johar directed Kareena Kapoor is 2001's ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’.

Karan had offered Kareena Preity Zinta’s role in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ but the actress turned down the offer after the failure of financial negotiations. This also led to a fall-out between the duo but they eventually put their differences aside.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and her husband Saif Ali Khan welcomes their son, Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on December 20. Kareena has made some official appearances since then - walking the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week and as ambassador for the channel BBC Earth - but she hasn't returned to film sets yet.

The first movie she will shoot for once she is back from her maternity break is ‘Veere Di Wedding’ with Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar.

The actress was last seen in 2016 movie ‘Udta Punjab’.
