Actor Varun Dhawan is all set to play a dark character yet again in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’ after his impressive performance in ‘Badlapur’.
The sources close to the movie reveal that unlike the expectations ‘October’ wont be a light-hearted movie but a hard-hitting, gritty film.
“October isn’t a light-hearted romantic film. It’s heartbreaking and dark, probably more niche than Badlapur,” DNA quoted a source as saying.
The source said that Varun will de-glamour for his role in the movie.
“This film is dark and he won’t have any make-up. It’s going to be very real. It’s one of the things Varun likes about the film. Shoojit has designed his character really well,” the source said.
No further details about the movie are known as apparently everyone, including Varun Dhawan, have signed a non-discloser agreement with the production house and the director.
The movie is written by Chaturvedi and produced by Rising Sun Films.
‘October’ will go on floors in September.
