Recently it was reported that Shraddha Kapoor’s biopic movie based on the life of ace badminton player Sania Nehwal has been delayed due to budget issues.

Shraddha Kapoor, who had begun to prepare for her role by practicing badminton, confirmed the reports that the movie will be delayed.

“Right now, I’m working on Saaho, and then I will be shooting in Chanderi for Stree. Saina will definitely happen later,” the actress said.

Shraddha will soon begin working on her first horror-comedy movie ‘Stree’, also starring Rajkummar Rao.

“I’m off to Chanderi now for the shoot of Stree. It’s my first movie in the horror-comedy genre and I’m pretty excited about it. I won’t be able to watch films like Padmaavat and Pad Man, but I will watch them soon,” she said.

The actress, who is sharing screen-space with ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas in ‘Saaho’, is in awe of the actor.

“Prabhas isn’t just a good actor, but a good human being too. I’m pretty happy to be working in my first Hindi-Telugu bilingual, which will also be dubbed in other languages,” she concluded.
