Shraddha Kapoor has walked into Katrina Kaif’s dancing shoes. The actress has replaced Katrina Kaif in Remo D’Souza dance movie that also stars Varun Dhawan. This means that the trio of Remo, Varun and Shraddha will reunite after their 2015 film ‘ABCD 2’. The film is tentatively titled ‘Street Dancer’.

The news was confirmed by Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his Facebook page on Monday. 

“IT’S OFFICIAL... Director Remo D'Souza, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor reunite [after #ABCD2] for a new dance-based  film... Filming begins 22 Jan 2019 in Punjab... Major chunk will be shot in UK... Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza,” he wrote.

Katrina recently opted out of the movie owing to date issues. According to reports in the media, the actress has committed her time for the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Bharat’. The last shooting schedule of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has begun in Goa today.

According to reports, ‘Street Dancer’ will also star ‘Dilbar’ girl Nora Fatehi. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, both Shraddha and Nora had been signed for the film. It further said that though lengths of their roles was not known, the two will certainly get substantial screen time Street Dancer being a dance-oriented film. The source added that since Nora was a good dancer, the film will have quite a bit of dance.

‘Street Dancer’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza. 

The will go on floors on January 22 with the first schedule being set in Punjab. A significant chunk of the film will be shot in the United Kingdom.
