Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest Superstars of Bollywood. In his career spanning over 3 decades the actor has managed rule the industry and hearts of million with his incredible performances.

But that doesn’t mean that the King Khan is devoid of fears.

“My biggest fear is what if I became mundane and start doing boring things and films. I get very scared at times what I start doing mundane films,” said Shah Rukh Khan to Deccan Chronicle.

The actor has never shied away from experimenting with his roles. He has played different characters from boy-next-door in ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ to a gangster in ‘Raees’ to a Muslim boy suffering from Asperger’s Syndrome in ‘My Name Is Khan’ to a psychotic stalker in ‘Darr’. Most recently he played a vertically challenged man in ‘Zero’.

Shah Rukh Khan said that he hopes to keep taking risks with his characters as doing a movie for just money scares him.

“I hope the day never comes when I am so tired that I tell myself that it is ok to do just a regular film which will get made in 40 days, release soon, become a box office hit and I can buy myself a new car and be happy. That thought scares me,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are eagerly awaiting news on actor’s next movie. Earlier there were rumours that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in Rakesh Sharma’s biopic titled ‘Saare Jahaan Se Accha’. But later it was reported that the actor has walked out of the movie as he wants to work on ‘Don 3’ instead.

Official confirmation of either projects is awaited.
