Bollywood rarely sees two big stars coming together for a movie. There have been very few occasions when the big stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar have acted together. ‘Karan Arjun’ saw Salman and Shah Rukh Khan come together, while ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ starred Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Fans are always eagerly waiting to see the big stars act together.

So, in a recent interview with DNA, Shah Rukh Khan was asked if he can do three or four films a year like Akshay or whether he will collaborate with the actor.

“What do I say to this? I don’t wake up as early as him,” he said.

While Akshay is known for waking up early and managing his schedules with precision, Shah Rukh prefers to work late at night.

“I go to sleep when Akshay is waking up. His day starts early. By the time I start working, he is packing up and going home. So he can put in more hours of work. I’m a nocturnal person. Not many people are fond of shooting at night like me,” he said.

Shah Rukh said if they do indeed work together, they will never meet on the sets.

“It will be fun to act with Akshay. Dono set pe hi nahin milenge. Woh jaa raha hoga aur main aa raha hounga (laughs). He’ll be leaving the set and I’ll be coming in. I would like to work like Akshay and with him, but our timings won’t match,” he said.

Shah Rukh is yet to confirm his new project after the box office dud, ‘Zero’. On the other hand, Akshay -- true to his reputation -- has multiple films lined up for release this year. He will open this year with Battle of Saragarhi war drama, ‘Kesari’, followed by comedy caper, ‘Housefull 4’. He will also be seen in ‘Mission Mangal’ based on India’s Mars mission and Karan Johar’s ‘Good News’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’.
