Time and again Kareena Kapoor Khan has shown that she is her own woman. The actress has been constantly criticised and trolled for any and everything. And most recently the actress was trolled for being rude to paparazzi and labelled ‘arrogant’.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was the first guest on Arbaaz Khan’s new web show, Pinch, was asked to read and respond to mean tweets.
Asked to respond to a tweet that labelled her rude and arrogant, Kareena said people think so without knowing the person. A Twitter user, by the name beenax, wrote, “Not appealing at all. Especially with her rude and arrogant attitude to the public. She needs to remember it is the public that allowed her to be famous,” to which Kareena retorted, “But when am I rude and where have I been arrogant? Of course actors, especially stars, have an image. And I have a feeling stars who come from a film family ....a lot of people feel they are arrogant. People who don’t know you, shouldn’t comment. They don’t know who I am.”
One Twitter user said that Taimur’s nanny is paid more than bureaucrats to which the actor replied, “How do they know that? This question should be addressed by a ministry.” On a serious note, she added, “There is no price for anything as long as your child is happy and safe. There is no price for that.” Asked to act her age and called “aunty” on Twitter, Kareena said, “I think age is just a number. I’m young at heart.”
On the same show, Kareena Kapoor Khan also responded to the troll who had commented "Go to hell Saif Ali Khan. you not a shame to let your wife wearing bikini" on a picture of Kareena Kapoor Khan wearing a bikini, which was posted by Soha Ali Khan.
To this Kareena said, "Who is Saif but to stop me from wearing a bikini? I don't think my relationship is as such that Saif would ever tell me why are you wearing a bikini or why are you doing such things or what? I don't think so at all. I think we share a very responsible relationship. He trusts me...and whether I am wearing a bikini then obviously there's a reason I am wearing it…….I am taking a dip."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is currently completing the shoot of her upcoming film, ‘Good News’ co-starring Akshay Kumar. Other than that the actress will also be seen in Karan Johar’s directorial movie ‘Takht’, also starring Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
