It is a well-known fact that King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan’s two kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, have expressed their desire to join the film industry. SRK had earlier revealed that Aryan wants to become a filmmaker while Suhana wishes to be an actor. Last year during a media interaction, the superstar had revealed that to kickstart his career in Bollywood, Aryan is likely to assist Karan Johar in one of his directorial ventures.

Now, according to reports in Pinkvilla, Aryan has been roped in to assist Karan in his upcoming directorial ‘Takht’.

"It’s very sweet of them (his industry friends), and they have the right. If Aryan decides to be an actor, it will only be an honour for him to work with directors of that calibre. But I think he wants to be a film-maker. Aryan is studying to be a film-maker and a writer, while Suhana wants to be an actor. But, even if he wants to be a film-maker, he needs to study for another five to six years and not just the literal form of studying, but probably be an assistant to Karan after he finishes his film-making course," Shah Rukh Khan had said earlier.

‘Takht’ is a period drama film set in the Mughal Era. The movie boosts an incredible star cast of Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. As of now, the movie is scheduled to release in 2020.
