Actor Salman Khan has three big movies lined up next. The actor will first be seen in ‘Dabangg 3’, which will release at the end of this year. The actor will follow it up with Kick 2 with Jacqueline Fernandez. Earlier the actor had scheduled Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah with Alia Bhatt for Eid 2020 since the project was shelved, he announced a new film titled, 'Radhe'.
The movie ‘Radhe’ is reportedly a remake of Korean film ‘The Outlaws’ released in 2017. And according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the pre-production work for the movies have already begun. Apparently, the makers are in search for a leading lady for the film.
According to reports, the makers are keen to bring in Priyanka Chopra for the movie to keep the pairing fresh but Salman Khan isn’t too keen after the ‘Bharat’ debacle. For the uninitiated, Priyanka Chopra was cast as the female lead opposite Salman Khan for ‘Bharat’ but the actress walked out of the movie days before the shooting began. Ever since then Salman Khan hasn’t left a chance to slam Priyanka Chopra.
“Bhai plays a cop again in the Eid 2020 release. This would be two back-to-back releases Dabangg 3 followed by the Eid release, where Salman plays a cop. To avoid a sense of sameness his team members suggested Priyanka Chopra since she has no films on hand after The Sky Is Pink releases in October,” said a source to Bollywood Hungama.
"At such short notice the choice was between Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif. With Jacqueline, Salman is already doing Kick 2. He might as well give Katrina the Eid gift,” the source further added.
Salman, on the other hand, is said to have recommended Katrina Kaif for ‘Radhe’. If that happens this will be the fourth time that the duo share screen for a Eid release after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Bharat’, which proved to be blockbusters.
‘Radhe’ will be directed by Prabhu Deva.
