Actor Shraddha Kapoor has had had two back to back releases. In the month of August, Shraddha’s first South Indian movie ‘Saaho’ that starred ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas released. But unfortunately, the movie failed to perform well at the box-office and was also heavily criticised by the critics.

But the actress turned the tables with her next release ‘Chhichhore’, directed by ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari. The movie also starred Sushant Singh Rajput, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty among others. The movie released to rave reviews and has also become one of the highest grossing movies of this year.

Even in 2020, the actress has two big movies lined up. The actress will be seen in ‘Street Dancer 3D’ that also stars Varun Dhawan. She also has the third instalment in the Baaghi franchise with Tiger Shroff.

But if things had gone as planned, Shraddha Kapoor wouldn’t have starred in ‘Street Dancer 3D’ and in Saina Nehwal biopic instead. But after Katrina Kaif walked out of the movie, Shraddha Kapoor walked in as the female lead. At the same minute, the actress walked out of Saina Nehwal biopic. There were rumours that the actress walked out of the movie as she the movie kept getting delayed and she gave her dates to other movies instead.

During an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress opened up and said "these things happen". The actress denied that she walked out of Sania Nehwal biopic as better options came her way.

“No, not at all. Ultimately, I feel like there are so many reasons. Like I couldn’t do Saina (Saina Nehwal’s biopic) for whatever reasons and these things happen. Eventually, I think it is what you’re happy with,” she said to Pinkvilla.

Shraddha also talked about her excitement for the Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi starrer.

"I was super thrilled that I came on board for Street Dancer 3D. I love to dance. It’s one of my most favourite things in the world. So I was super excited to get back on Street Dancer 3D and be with my old gang -- my ABCD 2 gang. The characterisation is super different and very very exciting. So, I was only happy about it. And for whatever reason am in the film, I’ve had a great time. Am very happy,” she said.

‘Street Dancer 3D’ is the third film in the dance series by choreographer turned director Remo D’Souza. The shooting of the movie was recently wrapped up.

‘Street Dancer 3D’ will release on January 24, 2020, around Republic Day weekend.
